The Outreach Committee will sponsor a
Take-out Only Manhattan Clam Chowder and Bread Supper Friday, March 9th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Tickets will be sold in advance only and are $10.00 which includes a quart container of soup and loaf of bread.
Volunteers will be needed to help with food preparation on Thursday, March 8th. Watch bulletin for more information.
Souper Bowl Sunday was on February 5, and many of our churches will be among the 12,000 groups participating.

The Outreach Committee would like to thank the congregation for their ongoing support and generosity given for the Cropwalk, Blanket Sunday, the Flood Relief for our local area and the Christmas angel tree for Bethel Baptist and the Dunmore Head Start Program.
A total of $1,135.00 was raised for the Cropwalk, which goes to our local NEPA Bread Basket and the Blanket Sunday donations will purchase 102 blankets for those in need through Church World Service.
A total of $134.00 and an assortment of canned goods was collected for Souper Bowl Sunday.
EVERYONE CAN SERVE Look for opportunities to serve; don't wait to be asked!
Remember: You can serve without being a part of an "official ministry". We all can:
Extend the word of welcome, whether or not we are greeters.
Be listening, caring friends, whether or not we are lay counselors
Be enthusiastic participants and ready to give a hand, whether or not we are on the
planning or clean-up committee.

The Board of Deacons continues to take food items they have collected to the Safety Net in Scranton. Your donations may be placed in the baskets in the vestibule or left in the church office.

The Adult Fellowship Class continues to receive rewards from Shur Save Supermarkets Community Rewards program. When you use your Gold Club card, $.03 for every Shurfine and/or Western Family item purchased accumulates and is rewarded to the Adult Fellowship Class each quarter.
If you have a card and/or recieved a new card and haven't registered your number, register your card in the church office.
Thank you! and please continue to recylce your used printer ink cartridges by just dropping them in the box located in the Fellowship Hall. The cartridges are taken to Staples and we recieve a reward of $2.00 per cartridge up to 10 cartirdges a month. The money earned is applied to church office supply purchases.
